Sadio Mane, a Senegalese and Liverpool football star, has shown again how much he adores assisting his people by donating $693,000 (N285,134,850.00) for the development of a medical clinic in his town of Bambali in Senegal.
It was uncovered that the village, Bambali which is around 400 kilometers outside the capital city Dakar, didn’t have a hospital.
Prior this month, the Reds forward met with Senegalese President Macky Sall to examine plans on the project, which will incorporate offices for maternity care, dental offices, and consulting rooms.
“The Liverpool striker has presented the Head of State with an ambitious plan to build a hospital in Bambali and is counting on state support for medical personnel,” the president tweeted.
Afterward, Mane communicated his excitement through Twitter saying: “Very honored by the audience that the Head of State, His Excellency @Macky_Sall granted me. A good time to discuss football but also our social projects.”
Review in 2019, Mane gave nearly $350,000 (£250,000) to construct a school in Bambali. The prior year, he gave out 300 Liverpool shirts to his hometown so fans could wear them during the Champions League final match.
